For the past 5 years, Greece has been subject to a harsh
austerity programme with devastating effects on the economy. In January, voters
decisively rejected austerity in snap elections. Mark Weisbrot is co-director
of the Centre for Economic and Policy Research. He sees the Syriza victory as a
possible turning point for economic policy in the Eurozone. Mark Weisbrot speaks
